We have mountain certification (Escuela nacional de Alta Montaña), ski instructor certification (New Zealand Ski Instructor Association), avalanche certifications (under AIARE and AST standards), first aid certification in remote areas (WAFA and WFR).

This program considers ski touring in 2 totally different places, Volcán Osorno and its surroundings (including the Volcán Osorno ski center) and Volcán Casablanca and its surroundings (including the Antillanca ski center), both sectors are inside National Parks and surrounded by lakes and other volcanoes, the views are impressive.

THE VOLKANO TEAM
We are Chileans with years of experience as professional adventure tourism guides and many more skiing in different mountains of the world, either giving classes (as ski instructors) or simply enjoying the backcountry skiing. We have lived in Chile for years, specifically in the Lake District where each winter season we fall more in love with vast terrain for ski touring in Patagonia; both the Andes mountain range and its pristine lakes and energetic rivers captivate us daily, but its volcanoes are our source of greatest inspiration, which we will share with you while we enjoy freeriding and backcountry skiing.
